I have been working at Bannett Eye Centers since 2012 and before that I worked for Dr. Bannett’s billing company from 2004 to 2012. I have been in ophthalmology billing for the last 17 years. Since I love a good challenge, insurance billing is perfect for me. I love learning new things about billing! I am not afraid to go toe to toe with insurance companies on behalf of our patients. I also enjoy the educational aspect of my job. Helping patients understand how their claim was processed can be rewarding as well. By the time we’re off the phone they understand and can be very appreciative – I like that!
When I’m not at work, I enjoy online shopping, learning new recipes with my fiancé and spending time with my Shih Tzu/Jack Russell dog “Chance”, my three cats, my family and friends.
